PROJECT ESTIMATOR

Tru-Flo Plumbing is seeking a cost-conscious and anticipative individual to assemble proposals for complete residential plumbing systems. This team member must be proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, submitting professional proposals, and composing professional emails. Our estimator must be self-driven and proactive about obtaining information needed to cover all anticipated labor and material. In addition, our estimator must utilize high level critical thinking to ensure our construction projects run efficiently and successfully. Plumbing experience is preferred; however, Tru-Flo is willing to train the right individual who meets the qualifications below.

  • Ability to assess, obtain data, identify and obtain missing information, compile data, perform cost analysis, describe complete scope of work, submit a professional proposal, discuss questions, and evaluate project performance.

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team

  • Ability to receive, organize, and compose professional emails

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients

  • Proficiency with working on computers

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong file management skills

CONSTRUCTION PLUMBER

Tru-Flo Plumbing is seeking an experienced plumber proficient in all three phases of new construction: underground/slab, second rough/tubset, and trim. We offer competitive wages and incentives for our skilled construction plumbers.

  • Minimum five years in residential or commercial construction plumbing

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

  • Ability to independently assemble and install plumbing systems according to blueprints and building codes

  • Ability to supervise plumbing apprentice work

  • Ability to adhere to safety standards and general contractor guidelines on the job site

  • Ability to safely operate chipping hammer and concrete cut saw for plumbing revisions

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing and sanitary systems

  • Ability to provide material lists and approximate labor hours for estimating

  • Ability to supervise plumbing apprentice work

  • Ability to record hours worked and material used by plumbing crew for payroll and billing

  • Proof of current drivers license

  • Ability to handle physical workload

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

SERVICE PLUMBER

Tru-Flo Plumbing is seeking an experienced service plumber to assess, diagnose, and repair plumbing issues for warranty and service calls. In addition, this team member will be able to install plumbing trim and fixtures for new construction projects as needed.

  • Minimum three years plumbing experience

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing and sanitary systems

  • Ability to write details of plumbing assessments, interventions, and outcomes for billing.

  • Ability to record hours worked and material used for billing and payroll

  • Ability to document and photograph plumbing problems and outcomes

  • Ability to adhere to safety standards and general contractor guidelines on the job site

  • Proof of current drivers license

  • Ability to handle physical workload

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
